Grassroots Researchers Association (GRA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to evidence-based humanitarian response, conflict transformation, localization, and human rights protection across Northern Nigeria and the Middle Belt. Founded in Maiduguri in 2009, GRA bridges the gap between frontline community needs and high-level policy frameworks.

Who we serve and impact

We Serve Women, children and persons with special needs or disabilities; survivors of conflict and conflict-related sexual violence; internally displaced persons; youth; and local institutions and civil society actors.

We work in Northeast Nigeria. The 2025 job posts describe projects across 19 local government areas, and the BAY states (Borno, Adamawa and Yobe) are named as the field base.
