Since our founding in 2009 in Maiduguri and formal registration in 2016, the Grassroots Researchers Association (GRA) has remained committed to delivering evidence-based, community-led solutions to Nigeria’s most pressing challenges in conflict, security, governance, and social development. Rooted in grassroots engagement, we continue to work with governments, partners, and communities to promote inclusive access to justice, protection services, and sustainable development for vulnerable groups, especially women, children, and persons with special needs.
