2022 Annual Report

As we reflect upon the accomplishments of the past year, I am struck by the remarkable strides we have taken in pursuit of our mission. The key achievements we have celebrated stand as powerful markers of our progress. The launch of the Youth Peace and Security (YPS) – National Action Plan (NAP) in Borno State under the European Union project signifies a monumental step towards fostering sustainable peace and security. This accomplishment is not just a testament to our determination, but also a testament to the potential we hold in shaping the future of conflict-affected communities. Our engagement with the Women, Peace, and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) has yielded transformative outcomes. The ongoing projects, including the Training of 100 Service Providers, have equipped individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to address and combat gender-based violence. Furthermore, the remarkable journey of a survivor of conflict-related sexual and gender-based violence (CR-SGBV) and a member of the survivor network, who traveled to the United Kingdom to participate in the PSVI International Conference, demonstrates our commitment to amplifying survivor voices on an international stage. These accomplishments are a testament to the collective efforts of our team, partners, and beneficiaries. In a world marked by complexity and uncertainty, our determination remains resolute. We are committed to leveraging our achievements as building blocks for even greater impact. Our journey continues, and as we forge ahead, we must remain steadfast in our commitment to creating a world where every individual can live with dignity, free from fear and discrimination. (ED)
